# Taxes

Property taxes in Romania are quite simple, at least for our first project.

Under 200k Euro = 0.08% - 0.2% per year.

Over 200k Euro = .3-1%

Rental income is 8% a year.

And selling is 5% since we are building the properties.

**Property Taxes**

* ***Yearly Property Tax - Based on the total value of properties owned by Fatu, LLC.***
  * Under 200,000 Euro: 0.08% - 0.2%
  * Over 200,000 Euro: 0.3% - 1%
* ***Rental Income Taxes***
  * **8% per year.**
* ***Sale of the property(ies)***
  * There are different rules for when purchasing and selling properties in Romania. Though, due to our homes being constructed from the ground up taxes are simple to calculate.
    * For selling there is a flat 5% tax on profits.
