# Bank - Staking

**Once you purchase new $NGET tokens, stake your tokens at the Bank to be eligible for rewards.** Staking is your responsibility. Staking does not have a staking period. Your tokens are considered staked perpetually until you unstake them.

To receive rewards, you must be staked for the entire reward cycle. Snapshots will be taken as needed to determine qualifications and amounts.
